When a trigger condition tests TRUE, the alarm displays notifies you by automatically displaying the Alarm Notices Window. This window displays alarms in two ways:

  1. Scrolling. Alarms scroll in from the bottom. Older alarms are at the top. Eventually, alarms will scroll off the top and out of view.

  2. Static. When an alarm's trigger hits, the alarm scrolls in at the bottom. Other alarms scroll in from the bottom as they trigger, but older alarms are not pushed off the top. They remain in view. If an alarm triggers again, it is highlighted in red for approximately three seconds.

Scrolling is the default state. To invoke Static display, set the alarmfilter=on parameter in the workstation's setup.txt file.
