Aspen alarms enable you to monitor and be instantly alerted to criteria you define. These criteria include the following:
Times & Dates
Instrument Price levels
Formula results
Alarms do not monitor trend lines or news stories.
Alarms support multi-line expressions.
You define alarms in the Alarm List dialog. To display the Alarm List dialog, choose Alarms... from the Tools menu:
Choosing Alarms... displays the Alarm List:
To create an alarm, click Add.
