Trend Line Functions Menu

To display the Trend Line Functions menu, right click on a trend line.

Selection

Function

Move

Prepares the cursor to move the selected trend line.

Pivot

Prepares the cursor to pivot the selected trend line.

Fibonacci

Prepares the cursor to draw Fibonacci retracement lines. Retracement lines are drawn relative to the selected trend line.

Parallel

Prepares the cursor to draw a line parallel to the selected trend line.

Linked-Parallel

Prepares the cursor to draw a linked line parallel to the selected trend line.

Extend

Extends the selected trend line.

Truncate

Truncates the selected trend line.

Parameters

Displays the Trend Line Parameters menu for the selected trend line:

Parameter	Function
Color	Enables you to modify the line's color.
Extend	Enables you to extend or truncated the trend line.
Label	Toggles the display of trend line labels.
Line Style	Controls how the line is drawn. The default is solid. Options include dashed and dotted.
Line Width	Controls the thickness of the line in pixels.
Price	Enables you to set the price level of both anchor points.
Time	Enables you to set the date/time orientation of both anchor points.

Button	Function
Save as Default...	Makes the current parameter settings the default for all trend lines.
OK	Commits the current parameter settings to the selected trend line and exits the Trend Line Parameters dialog.
Cancel	Exits the Trend Line Parameters dialog without committing current settings.
Apply	Applies the current settings to the selected trend line.

Delete

Deletes the selected trend line.

Exit Trend Mode

Exits trend mode.

Options

Displays the Trend Line Options menu.
