The instructions for starting JACC are subject to change.
JACC is a Java application that is launched at the command line of a Command Prompt.
To start JACC, follow these steps:
Open a Command Prompt
Change to the directory where JACC is installed.
Type the name of the batch file that launches
JACC.
Press <Enter>
The batch file you type in step 3 depends on the JACC product you intend to run. Use the following table for guidance.
Product |
Batch File |
JACC |
jacc.bat |
JACC with Gain Capital |
jaccgcfh.bat |
JACC with Coesfx |
jacccfx.bat |
JNews |
jnews.bat |
JAS |

While this method for starting JACC will always work, be aware that the JACC start up procedure is easily automated. Therefore, you should ask MIS or other personnel responsible for the JACC whether such automations exist.
