MESA Functions

MESA (Maximum Entropy Spectral Analysis) studies are an adaptation of filtering techniques developed by geophysicists for oil exploration. The objective of these techniques is to obtain high-resolution measurements from short data sets. Using short data sets satisfies the stationarity constraints of cycle analysis with higher probability. This objective can be applied to markets to identify short-term market cycles.
