Parameters

The parameters you declare in the formula name define the content of the formula’s parameters menu. There are three classifications of parameters.

The first category of parameters are “standard” parameters. There are three standard parameters:

Parameter
Meaning
Price
The default operative price, i.e., open, high, low, close, et. al.
Color
The default graph element color rendered by the formula
Graph
The default graph element rendered by the formula, i.e., line, bars, histogram, et. al.

Standard parameters appear in all formulas in which you declare parameters. You do not declare “standard” parameters; they appear in the formula’s parameters automatically.

The second category of parameters is “Type” parameters. There are two Type parameters:
