Study Commands

Each study has a dot command. These dot commands enable you to display a study without using the Study Menu. To use a dot command, display a chart window, enter an instrument symbol, and enter the dot command of the study you want to display. This displays the study in the chart window.

Overlays a Moving Average study on the chart in the active chart window. The moving average can be plotted using Simple, Modified, Weighted, Exponential, or Hamming moving average calculations.

.PARAM
If the active window contains a conventional study, the .PARAM command displays the parameters menu for the study. If the active window contains an overlay, the .PARAM command displays the Study menu, which enables you to select the overlay for which you want to adjust parameters.
