, Boolean OR

The comma (,) serves as the Boolean OR operator. Using the OR operator creates a working set of headlines that contain ANY of criteria in the query. For example, the following query,

/Beijing,China

returns any headline that contains either the word “China” or the word “Beijing.”

You can use the comma to join as many criteria as you want. The more criteria you use, the larger your working set.
