How do I change the volatility on an individual option?

You can also change the volatility at the individual option level. To show this, consider the last example, in which we showed how to change the volatility at the underlying instrument level. When we made the change, the volatility for all options changed to 11, the volatility we set for the underlying instrument. However, you may find that this is not satisfactory for a particular option. Rather than changing the underlying instruments volatility again, just change the volatility for the option. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Double-click on the volatility field for the strike you want to change.

An Entry Box is displayed.

2. Type the volatility you want for the option.
