On Futures Options

Some traders distinguish between borrowing and lending rates as they affect an options position. As a more general rule, you can use an interest rate based on the value of an interest rate future that expires in approximately the same amount of time as your option position. For example, to evaluate an option that expires in three months, you might elect to use the most active three-month CME treasury bill.
