All studies are user definable. In most studies, the number of periods used to calculate the study is variable. Other studies employ smoothing factors that can be changed. The color and format of all studies are changeable. You change these study parameters using the Parameters menu. Each study has its own Parameters menu. The reason for this is that the parameters you can change on one study may be different than the parameters you can change on another study. To display the Parameters menu, display the Graph Menu and select Parameters, or enter the .PARAM command. If the active window contains only a study, selecting Parameters or entering the .PARAM command displays the Parameters menu for the study. If the active chart window contains a study and a bar chart, selecting Parameters or entering the .PARAM command displays the Study menu, which contains a selection for the study and a selection for the bar chart.
