Two of the Clear options, Cell and Group, enable you to clear select parts of a quote window grid. The other option, All, enables you to clear the entire quote window grid. All of the Clear options require you to use a mouse. To clear a cell, follow these steps:

1. Open the cell you want to clear.

2. Display the Edit Quotes menu.

3. Click on Clear/Cell.

Selecting Clear/Cell removes the cell.

A group is a series of cells with the same $n.prefix, where n is a positive integer. The principal group is the series of cells with $1. prefix. You can clear any group on a quote page using the Clear/Group option.

To clear a group, follow these steps:

1. Open a cell in the group you want to clear.

2. Display the Edit Quotes menu.

3. Click on Clear/Group.

To clear all cells on a quote page, follow these steps:

1. Display the Edit Quotes menu.

2. Double-click the left mouse key on Clear/All.

(Remember that red menu options are protected.)

The program also provides you with the ability to create complex quote window layouts. You can set up quote windows with dual column layout, irregular code spacing, and vertical and horizontal code orientation.

Special layouts are particularly useful in setting up quote pages for options analysis. The .DELGROUP, .FILLDN, and .FILLRT commands enable you to delete and fill creatively.
