Comma Macros

Comma macros are unique in that you can only use them in a quote window. While there is actually only one comma macro, there are several ways you can use it.

You can use the comma delimiter (,) to fill in and arrange instrument symbols in a quote window. The comma macro enables you to quickly fill in the specific symbols you want to view, in the order you want to view them. There are two ways to use a comma:

The action that the comma performs depends on whether you are entering symbols from the command line or into the quote window format.
