Disable/Enable Labels

When you draw a trend line, the trend line is, by default, rendered with a label consisting of a positive integer. The first line you draw has a label of 1, the second line has a 2, and so on. You can edit labels to include more descriptive information by clicking on the label, typing the new description, and then pressing b. For more information on labels, see Editing Trend Line Labels. The Disable Labels option enables you to suppress all trend line labels. The labels are still available for display.

To temporarily suppress trend line labels, follow these steps:

1. Display the Trend Line Functions menu.

2. Select Disable Labels.

All trend line labels are suppressed; the Disable Labels option changes to Enable Labels.

This option is a toggle. To display suppressed labels, follow these steps:

1. Display the Trend Line Functions menu.

2. Select Enable Labels.

All suppressed trend line labels are displayed; the Enable Labels option changes to Disable Labels.
