Exiting Trend Line Mode

When you are in trend line mode, the program is ready for you to draw and manipulate trend lines. Many of the keystrokes and commands you are familiar with using on charts do not work in trend line mode. Once you enter trend line mode, you remain in trend line mode until you exit trend line mode. To exit trend line mode, follow these steps:

1. From the chart window, display the Trend Line Functions menu.

2. Select Exit Trend Mode.

Alternatively, you can exit trend mode by typing the .EXIT command and pressing b.
