Selecting Gann Options from the Trend Line Functions menu displays the Gann Square Options menu. The Gann Square Options menu contains fields that enable you to set parameters for drawing Gann Squares and Gann Time/Price angles. Before you can draw Gann squares and Gann Time/Price angles, you must set parameters in this menu. Display Grid Mode Begin Date & Time Specifies origin of Gann lines based on a date and/or time. Begin Price Specifies origin of Gann lines based on a price. End Date & Time Specifies termination of Gann angles based on a date and/or time. The system calculates this date based on the parameters you enter. End Price Specifies termination of Gann angles based on a price. The system calculates the Gann Grid using the end price you enter. Mesh Size Specifies mesh size. The default is 144, for the Gann Theory is usually based on 90, 144, 270, or 360. Time Units Specifies number of time units. The default is 1. Specify horizontal range in Days or Minutes. The default is days. Price Units Specifies vertical range in decimal format. For example, you would enter .125 for 1/8 points. Grid Types Calculated Angle Origins Gann Angles These are the available angles for the Gann angles or Gann square. You have the ability to enable each angle separately, or to enable all angles. Yes Enables grid display. No Disables grid display. Multi-Grid Enables multiple grid display. Single Enables single grid display. 1/8 enables 1/8 grid. 1/3 enables 1/3 grid. PT enables one point grid (price and time). BD enables borders. UL Upper left corner. UR Upper right corner. LR Lower right corner. LL Lower left corner. 1x8 1 price unit for every 8 time units. 1x4 1 price unit for every 4 time units. 1x3 1 price unit for every 3 time units. 1x2 1 price unit for every 2 time units. 1x1 1 price unit for every 1 time unit. 2x1 2 price units for every 1 time unit. 3x1 3 price units for every 1 time unit. 4x1 4 price units for every 1 time unit. 8x1 8 price units for every 1 time unit. ON Turn all angles on. OFF Turn all angles off. Done Activates Gann Square Options and returns you to the chart in trend line mode. Cancel Returns you to the chart in trend line mode. Update Grid When drawing a Gann grid or Gann fan, updates the chart with the current Gann Square Options and returns you to the chart in trend line mode.
