Local Settings

The Settings menu contains the following Local settings:

Bars On/Off
Default is on. Toggles bars on and off. If you set bars to on, the program displays bars. If you set bars to off, the program suppresses bars, thereby displaying only existing overlay and formula lines.

Night On/Off/Only
Default is on. Applies only to intraday and tick time bases. Toggles second session data on intraday charts on and off. If you set Night to on, the program displays second session data on instruments with evening sessions and Globex hours. If you set Night to off, the program displays only day session data on instruments with evening sessions and Globex hours. To display the night session only, use the .NIGHT ONLY command.

Nogaps On/Off
Default is off. Toggles gaps on and off. If you set Nogaps on, any gap in the active chart window is removed. If you set Nogaps off, any gap in the active chart window is displayed.

Nogaps has particular application in charts on Globex instruments and after holidays. Some instruments trade sparsely during Globex hours. Setting Nogaps to on elimnates gaps in Globex trading. When a holiday occurs, your holiday filter suppresses data that may have been transmitted on the holiday. Setting Nogaps to on eliminates holiday gaps.
