Other Parameters

Aside from the type parameters (INPUT and SERIES), you can create any parameter your formula requires. You create a parameter by declaring it in the formula name. You can, for example, create a variable named Bob and use it as a multiplier in the formulas expression. If you create a user-defined parameter, it must serve some role in the formulas expression; if it does not, a syntax error will result. A user-defined parameter should not conflict with instrument symbols or reserved words. If you declare a parameter, you must use it somewhere in the formulas expression.
