The Array's Scale

The third cell of the top row can contain a scale definition (the example array (Figure 1) does not contain a scale definition). A scale definition is optional. You use the scale definition to change the decimal place of data in your array. For example, if you array contains a four-digit number like 1765, but you want to store the data as 17.65, you would place a scale definition of 2 in the third cell of the top row. The scale definition takes all numbers in the array and moves the decimal two places to the left.
