Product Requirement Description
Aspen Internet Aspen Internet products require a connection to the Internet. Broadband connectivity of 768k or greater is highly recommended. IMPORTANT: Without a high speed internet connection an Aspen Graphics user may experience slow performance or data that does not reflect current market conditions.
Workstation The Workstation must have a minimum of Administrative rights on a corporate network. An Internet connection is advisable but not necessary.
Server The Aspen Server requires a satellite data connection. A satellite dish must be installed with an unobstructed view and proper alignment to the satellite, only if using DTN feed.
FlexNet The Aspen FlexNet requires a satellite data connection. A satellite dish must be placed on the roof, and properly aligned, only if using DTN feed.

Note: Aspen Graphics is a resource intensive software package. All three versions of Aspen will benefit from an increase in system memory. For optimal performance, Aspen suggests a fast hard drive, preferably a SSD, more RAM and increased CPU cache. These features are found in the latest series of PC's, with either Intel or AMD processors.
