The Filter toggle determines whether erratic volatility values are filtered
out of input lines to create a smoother skew curve. Set to on, the filter toggle
cleans up erratic volatilities. Set to off, the volatility values are not
filtered. In editing a skew curve, you can create a smoother line by turning the
filter on.
