The Points Field
The points field indicates the total number of points calculated in the skew
curve. This number is a function of a) the range of the X Axis (strike prices),
and b) the minimum difference between two adjacent strikes. You can change
the number of points by selecting the number in this field and entering the
number of points you want. Lowering the number of points makes it easier to define
your own skew volatilities. Increasing the number of points increases the
curve resolution.
