The Table Menu

The Table Menu enables you to scroll through a tabular window, adjust the character size of a table, display the Main Menu, and delete the tabular window:

The Table Menu contains the following selections:

Selection
Function

Moves the content of the table up a line at a time.

Moves the content of the table down a line at a time.
Pg Up
Moves the content of the table up a page at a time.
Pg Dn
Moves the content of the table down a page at a time.


Narrows the range of points in the table.

Expands the range of points in the table.
Fine
Increases the granularity of the independent variable displayed in the tables left column (i.e., underlying price).
Coarse
Decreases the granularity of the independent variable displays in the tables left column (i.e., underlying price).
Points
Displays the table in the points of the option charts underlying instrument.
Currency
Displays the table in the currency (i.e., dollars) of the option charts underlying instrument.
Character Size
Displays the Font Sizes menu.
Ochart Menu
Displays the Option Chart menu.
Main Menu
Displays the Main Menu.
DELETE
Deletes the active tabular window. This is a protected pick, so you have to double-click on it to select it.
Cancel
Returns you to the active tabular window.

Option chart windows and Tabular windows are closely linked. If you increase the degree of accuracy by inserting more calculation points per grid in the chart, the granularity in its table increases proportionally. When you do this, the table may not accommodate all the points. In such cases, use the up and down arrow selections, and the Pg Up and Pg Dn selections, to view different points. Alternatively, you can make your table window larger, or you can make its font size smaller.

Because an option chart and its table are linked, some functions in the charts Rescaling menu change the table, and some Table Menu selections change the chart. Use the following table to identify these functions:
