Workstation System Ids

A common problem with remote connections for workstations requiring feature-control passwords (Aspen passwords) was that the workstation's system ID number changed from one dial-up session to another. Whenever the system ID number changed, a new password was required.

This problem is fixed by re-issuing passwords when upgrading from v3.00. A new password scheme allows the system ID and the feature-control password to remain constant, regardless of fluctuations caused by dial-up host connections, software-based node-address selection, or workstation network board swaps.
