The Profit & Loss Modes

Like the Books menu, the Strategy menu enables you to view total and daily profit and loss. Where a book’s profit and loss is based on all the strategies that comprise the book, a strategy’s profit and loss is based on the positions that comprise the strategy.

Total profit and loss is calculated using the entry price and the current price. Daily profit and loss employs the previous price (yesterday’s close) and the current price. The P&L Total mode is sensitive to the Minimized/Maximized toggle while the P&L Today is not.
