Manual Installation Using Software that Came with Your Adapter

1. Create a directory \NWCLIENT on your boot drive.

Note: The remaining instructions in this section assume drive C: is your system's boot drive.

2. Copy the file LSL.COM to the C:\NWCLIENT directory.

3. If you will be using the IPX protocol, also copy the file IPXODI.COM to the same directory.

4. Copy the 16-bit ODI driver for your particular network adapter to the C:\NWCLIENT directory.

5. If you will be using the TCP/IP protocols, copy the TCP16.EXE archive file into the C:\NWCLIENT directory. Make sure your current drive and path are set to C:\NWCLIENT. Then decompress the archive file with the following command:

C:\NWCLIENT> TCP16

6. Complete your new installation by following the instructions in the section, Configuring 16-bit Transport Software for a New Installation .
